Three Circles - Gospel Presentation

Circle on Right (Brokenness):
We live in a broken world, where everyone is affected by sin. Brokenness is not hard to see. Everywhere you look, people are hurting. People hurt each other, get sick, feel a void in their lives, natural disasters occur, etc
Circle on Left (God’s Perfect Design):
But brokenness was not a part of human life at the beginning of time. God had a perfect design in mind, and people once had a pure relationship with God and with each other; there was no shame, and every need they had, was supplied.
The Arrow from Left to Right Circle (Sin):
Unfortunately, our world did not stay perfect. The first people chose to rebel (sin) from God’s goodness. Now you and I live in brokenness and separation from God because of our sin. Sin can be anything from lying, stealing, to murder.
(Optional) Have you ever wondered why lying is a sin?
If you lied to your parents when you were a teen the consequence might be that you were grounded or something. But if you lied to your boss at work you could get fired. If you lied to a judge in court you could go to jail. See how the consequence gets higher the more authority the person your accountable too. So how much more the consequence if you’re standing before a righteous holy God who sees the motives of your heart and what’s done in secret.
The Squiggly Arrows from Right Circle:
Since no one wants to be in pain or brokenness, humans try to escape it by attempting to work hard to become highly successful; they attempt to perform good deeds or become religious. Some people even try to numb the pain through media, drugs, or alcohol. However, none of these methods work for long or at all. They’re like a bungee cord that snaps us right back into brokenness. If we died in this state we’d be forever separated from God the father.
Circle on Bottom (Jesus): [Choose a version below]

Yet, God loves you so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to live perfectly on earth, something none of us can do. Jesus then took the penalty for your sins by dying on the cross and defeating death by rising from the dead three days later.
God loves you so much that He sent His one and only Son, Jesus, to live perfectly on earth, something none of us can do. He showed us who God the father is really like and the religious leaders of the day were jealous that people were listening and following Jesus rather than them and their rules. So they killed him by nailing him on a cross. And before he died he said three words. Do you know what he said? It is finished. Do you know why someone would say this before they die? Imagine standing in front of a judge having a stack of speeding tickets you can’t pay. The judge orders you to jail. But a guy comes in and pays the tickets for you. Now the judge can let you go because the debts were paid. In a similar way we are guilty before the court because of all our wrongdoings. But Jesus took all our wrongdoings upon himself but because he never once lied or looked at a women with lust. Death couldn’t hold him because the wages of sin is death. He rose after three days in the grave and was seen by many witnesses. Then went to heaven.
The Arrow from Right to the Bottom Circle (Turn & Believe):
The Bible tells you that if you turn from your sins to Jesus, believing in your heart what He did on the cross for you, and confess Him as Lord of your life, you will be saved from judgement when he comes back to judge the living and the dead.
The Arrow from Bottom to the Left Circle (Grow & Go): [Choose a version below]

When you turn to Jesus and believe in Him, something incredible happens! God restores you into His perfect design and pours out His Spirit into you. You then have a new purpose: to grow in your relationship with God and go back into the brokenness to tell others about Him and His plan for salvation.
When you turn to Jesus and believe in Him, something incredible happens! God restores you into His perfect design and pours out His Spirit into you. You’re freed from being a slave to the things you don’t want to do (sin). You then have a new purpose: to grow in your relationship with God and go back into the brokenness to tell others about Him and His plan because he’s coming back again to restore His kingdom on earth and remove all brokenness
Possible Closing Questions:
Where do you find yourself? In brokenness or God’s perfect design? Why? How can I pray for you?
